Spread the Good News

In the wake of what happened in the small New England town of Newtown, Connecticut last Friday, many have asked, why did this happen and how could it have been prevented? With-out question, the reason this happened is a result of the evil forces of Satan controlling this young man’s life. This may have been caused by some sort of chemical imbalance in his brain from birth. It may have been caused by a misuse of drugs. It could have been caused by living in an abusive environment or some other reason. We may never know. The one thing we do know is that the antidote to all evil is found in God’s Word. But the question remains, how do we effectively communicate God’s Word to young people, and others, in such a way to change their lives for good in-stead of evil?

We do this by being an influence for good in the way we interact with them. This may require a sacrifice of valuable time and assets (Ezek 22:30). But once the door of their heart is opened then we can communicate God’s Word, which is the only thing that will change their hearts for good. Having a heart conditioned by God’s Word will cause one to react in the right way during critical moments in life.
