If you’re struggling, focus on something small. Even an answered email, short report finished, or another small win is all it takes to build a little momentum to tackle the big stuff. http://ift.tt/2e0pkUh

Just Pinned to Real Life Enrichment: We’ve all had the experience of wanting to get a project done but putting it off for later. Sometimes we wait because we just don’t care enough about the project, but other times we care a lot–and still end up doing something else. I, for one, end up cleaning my house when I have a lot of papers to grade, even though I know I need to grade them. http://ift.tt/2dRsn4q

The window from which we look!

Something to think about......

The Window from which we look

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not very clean", she said. "She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this."

The husband said, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."

And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.

Organize Notes in Software like Evernote, OneNote, and Others

For online note-taking, Evernote and OneNote are great options. There are others to consider for desktop applications.

Let the note-taking wars begin. With Microsoft's release of OneNote for the Mac and iOS , and its announcement that the Windows application is now free as well, the company has taken dead aim at the popular program Evernote. The two applications now both work on the same platforms (including mobile OSes such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone), sync your notes to your devices and include Web-based versions.

For a good review of Note-Taking Showdown: Evernote vs. OneNote (2016 Edition)
ComputerWorld reviewed them as well.

Improve Your Posture with These Three Simple Exercises

  • With your head still tucked, flap your arms, hands with your palm facing down, from your sides to just over shoulder level. Do that about ten times.
  • With your head still tucked and your palms facing down, lift your arms above shoulder level, then bend your elbows and put your hands on your ears. Do that about ten times.
  • With your head still tucked, reach out and above you with one hand and pull down, while you do the same with the other hand. Think “climbing an invisible ladder” and you’ll do it right. Do that about ten times.
