- Loss of muscle of mass happens about 35-40 years of age. sarcopenia
- Doesn't have to be that way. Need to be able to walk about a yard / second.
- Exercise prevents diabetes and muscle loss.
- Amount of Protein about .8 grams / kilogram per day.
- Better source or form? Whey protein is best. Part of cheese process. Low fat and no lactose.
- Best time of day? Within 30 minutes after you exercise. 2nd best is when we go to bed or early in the morning.
- Can be combined with fruits etc. for more benefit.
- Better to be from cows without hormone feed.
- Help people after hip fracture to recover. Multiple vitamin and D3.
